It's a Winter Onederland!

Thanks to Pinterest and Etsy, I was able to plan and put together an elaborate first birthday party😉!  I really had fun, everything turned out cute and I am sure Emersyn will enjoy looking back through the pictures as she gets older. As for the actual party...she was a little overwhelmed!

My Baby is One!

Look at this happy little girl! We are loving the precious little girl she is becoming and love watching her learn and grow every day!  

This month Emersyn celebrated her first Christmas. It was so fun to watch her come out of her room Christmas morning and see new toys sitting in the family room. She stared for a minute and then began checking them out and playing! We celebrated for the entire week, going from one house to another and having people to our house too. Then Emersyn took her first BIG car ride to New Jersey. She did really well with Grammy entertaining her in the back seat for 7 hours and adjusted well to sleeping in a new place and being on the go. While there, we took her into NYC. She got her picture by the tree and a picture with Elmo. She did a lot of people watching that day!

We came back just in time for a double ear infection and bad reaction to the antibiotic. We made two trips to urgent care and about a week later she started feeling better again. It was so sad to look at her when she was feeling so awful and so scary to have a baby with a high fever. 

Emersyn is back up and into everything. She loves to enjoy life. She loves to carry things around, hide things, and take things out, put things in, etc.  let's just say this girl knows how to stay busy!

Now on to preparations for the big first birthday party!

11 Months

I'm not ready for this....11 months? That means we are just one month away from her first birthday? How can that be? Oh my....

Still soooo busy!

Celebrated her first Thankgiving

She likes to unpack her diaper bag. She was dancing around watching the parade with the water bottle...Buster is also eyeing the water bottle...they both love them!

She loved the green beans and sweet potato!

Wardrobe change! She will only have one "First Thanksgiving!"

Besides...that dress is adorable! Emersyn also made her first craft. 

She knows how to work all her toys, where they are, how to pull them ALL and and kind of how to put them away, haha! She does amaze me at how quickly she picks up things!

She got to help decorate for Christmas. What a big helper! :)

Enjoying every moment with this sweet baby. Can't believe we are preparing to celebrate her first birthday!

10 Months

  Growing so fast! This little girl is off and running. She is into everything. She watches everything we do and wants to mimic it. Opening and closing cabinets and doors is a current favorite. 

   

Naturally with all this new found freedom, little miss girl has become quite the big helper. 

This little girl has also developed quite the sense of humor. Her laugh brightens any day and her smile lights up a room. She loves to play "gonna get ya" and peek a boo. She also likes to follow me around from room to room and grab things and "run" away....she really can be fast!

She loves her food! We started some "easy pick up" food this month. Puffs, lil crunchies, egg, cheese, muffin....she loves it all and loves when she gets to pick something up and put it in her mouth. 

And of course, Emersyn and Buster are still best friends :)
